I am a christian work from home mom of 3, married to a great guy.  We struggle greatly month to month, and though I homeschool my kids, I am forced now to look for work outside the home.  Which means no more homeschooling, and letting go of the wonderful little girl I babysit for. It also means yet again the likelyhood the schools will want me to medicate my son, which is why I pulled them out to begin with.  We recieve food stamps but no other assistance, DH makes 30 dollars a month to much for us to qualify even though a third of his income is taken in child support (1 child and he's not behind).  Yesterday we recieved a letter saying our house payment will be going up from 788.00 to 984.00  Though I called the lender I still do not understand since it is a fixed rate loan.  We were barely making ends meet as it was but we had both been unable to find part time work to help ease the burden and still be able to keep the kids home.  Which is why I'm now seeking ANY shift at Any job, and DH is still looking for something of a second job. My kids are very upse, my youngest has never attended public school.  I've always been very happy going without in order to be able to be with my kids, it's been three years since I've worked, though we were financially stable up until Novemberwhen child support kicked in (we had custody for 4 years and her mom never paid us a cent so DH didn't have to start paying after his daughter wanted to go live there until the arrearage we were owed ran out.) As of right now I don't know waht we are going to do.  we are going to be 200 dollars short for our house payment for feb.  because of child support and then since it goes up in march we are likely to be about 400.00 short unless work is found.  We do have the option of using our tax return, but I need surgery to remove a very painful cyst and there is no insurance, and our tax return was suppossed to pay for that.  I'm afraid even if I get a job without that surgery I'll lose it.  I know right now that the economy is terrible and so many people are in the same postion we are, but if there is anyone out there that can help at all, we're also 300 behind on our electric and 150 behind on our gas (heat).  We don't have cable or cell phones, and no car payments, there isn't anything else I can think of to cut out.  Thanks for reading this and God bless, I'm the type of person who has always tried to give back for any help I've needed, tithes at church, donations to food banks and the local agency that gives away free clothing, I lead my daughter's Daisy troop, I provide free childcare when I know families need it, so any help we can get will be given back, I just have to figure out a way to keep our heads above water for a couple more months.
